Keystroke intervals are drawn from a lognormal distribution, the shape measured across 136 million real keystrokes in Aalto University's CHI 2018 study. Typos use a QWERTY adjacency map, pauses scale with how hard a word is to type, and a fatigue model drifts the error rate upward over long sessions. We make no claim that the result is indistinguishable from human typing, and it should not be bought on that basis. In limited testing against one detection tool, some presets were flagged and others were not. Anything examining a Google Doc reads the full revision history, which is a record of how a document was built up, revised and reordered over time. TypeIt models keystroke timing. It does not model a writing process.
